Yeah, I know what you mean. lol

It's just not something I want to blow a lot of time on really. I've posted about it here, and on some other forums as well. I took down all except a couple text links on my site last week, and moved the text links down to the bottom of the pages rather than up towards the top where they were (figuring maybe a severe drop in traffic from me rather than a total elimination of traffic might make it more noticeable). I will probably take the text links away soon too, and replace it with a message like you suggested about why I won't link to them any longer.

I did get a reply from CoolPage today, if you can call it that. They just referred me to the notice at downloadfast, sent a copy of the downloadfast TOS, and told me to contact downloadfast with any other questions. Fun, since there isn't really much for contact information for downloadfast beyond a snail mail address.

It's not even the money part of it that makes me mad, it's that they just posted one little message on the sign in screen at download fast and didn't bother to notify anyone by any other method. Seems to me they are quite happy with having loads of links out there that they are not going to pay for. If they had even sent out just one email explaining the situation and letting people know they had ended the program I would not be as angry about it as I am. If they had just done that one thing, payment or not, I would not have even posted about it.

Again, my main purpose in posting about this here was to let people know that links through downloadfast.com will not pay any longer. I wanted to post it because there was no notice from CoolPage or DownloadFast sent out by email about it so I decided to let people know myself where I could.
