For future reference, if you are interested, I have all of my affiliate programs through LinkShare and Reporting.net. I have been using both of these for going on 4 yrs. now.

Even though most don't pay out until $25 or $50 let me give you some examples of great service.

Changed business name... received check for $10.15 to close out that name.

Received checks as small as 0.20 if a company closed out it's affiliate program.

About every six months receive some small checks. Seems almost like they clean house or something.

Checks above the $25 or $50 mark come like clockwork every month.

These two companies are great.

I don't really care for commission junction. I have had a $1.91 balance there for 2 years since I quit using them. Unlike Linkshare or Reporting.net, I will never see that money unless I start using them again I guess.

I think the fraud you referred to above with Coolpage is probably due to the massive number of people who find something they want to use, realize there is an affiliate program, then sign up for the affiliate program before they use the product, just to get the money too. This type of activity is easily trackable and most companies don't really care unless that is the only activity they are getting, in which case they lose money.
