I started adsense about 2 weeks ago and I'm up to $1.02 already LOL.

To be honest I really don't have a clue about adsense. Do you have any control over what ads show? Mine seems to reflect the content of the page it's on. I put the adsense code on an include page and it seems to read the main page and the ads appear.

It's kind of a novelty for me, I really don't care if it makes money or not but a little money is better than none.
