I'd rather let someone else comment on it since my experience with Invision Power Board is rather limited. I'll mention only that the default IPB skin looks like it was designed in 1997, to my taste, it's pretty outdated-looking. Of course, it can be replaced right away with a diff one. On the other hand, I rather like like the vB default skin.
