| TWT's Ad Revenue Sharing Program
In my attempt to make TWT a great resource for webmasters I have decided that I will be sharing revenue generated by Google Adsense with the members of this forum. I want to be able to give back to the members for their loyalty and sharing revenue is definitely a great incentive and reward for members.
The concept is quite simple; members’ adsense account number will rotate within the threads that they start 50% of time and the other 50% will be TWT’s adsense account, thus sharing revenue. The script is set up so that when you visit your own thread it will “recognize” you and will not show you an ad with your account number. This is done so that you will not get penalized from clicking on your own ads but just in case do not click on ads within your own threads.
Is this ok with Google? TWT is not the first forum nor is it the only forum using this concept. Google’s TOS states that you cannot have two or more adsense banners with different accounts at the same time. The adsense will only be displayed within the threads and will only show one account at a time so we are not breaking any rules.
I want everyone to understand that this will probably not generate hundreds of dollars for you every month but whatever money is generated is a plus for you considering you weren’t making any money from posting here before. Please take note that the more interesting your thread is the more people will reply to it and this will give you a greater opportunity for people to click on the ads. So, starting threads just to try to get your adsense up will not be very fruitful. Like most things, quality is always better than quantity.
To add your account numbers go to your user cp and click on edit options. Scroll to the bottom and you’ll see the text field for your adsense account and your channel if you’d like to track your CTR from TWT.
To be able to participate in this opportunity members will need a minimum of 50 posts. Once a member reaches 50 posts the rotation will be retroactive and will start rotating on all your threads.
