The competition will be a logo design for the company that owns this forum. The name of the company is Inwurx Media. Inwurx Media focuses on building websites that provide quality content for two groups of people, webmasters/business owners and consumers.

Contest ends Tuesday January 30, 2006
The winning prize is 100$ payable through Paypal and StormPay.
Contestants are allowed to submit as many entries as they’d like.
The winner will be announced on February 1st, 2006

Guidelines

(1) The final design must be submitted as a scalable vector format EPS (Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, CorelDraw, or similar), therefore no halftone (photographic or bitmap) images will be taken into consideration by the jury. Please also avoid the use of gradients (including elements such as drop shadows) unless created inside a vector program.

(2) Inwurx will acquire ownership of the winning logo by assignment of copyright, and the winning designer will disclaim any trademarks and without limitation all other rights related to the design.

By submitting a logo for entry in the competition, the designer acknowledges that he/she is the person that made the logo and is its rightful owner.

The designer also certifies that the logo does not infringe upon the rights of any third party and that it does not violate any copyright.

(3) Inwurx will need access to the original electronic files or artwork for the chosen design.
The designer may select the colors to be used in the logo proposal, however Inwurx may decide to utilize the logo in other colors. The design needs to be able to be adapted easily to be used as single color line art.

Please post all comments or question in the logo discussion thread. This thread will be used only for the logo entries.

*Disclaimer: If none of the entries are found suitable to be used as the official logo for the company then we will set up a poll and let the members decide which logo they prefer so that a winner can be chosen. The prize will then be 50$ but the winner does not need to provide any of the orginal artwork.
