I think expanding on the main site rather then having the site focused on the forums would help. For example, like kaethy said, have tutorials/guides on coding, webmaster issues etc.. Also, you could have a downloads page with webmaster/website tools. Another suggestion, you could use have an RSS feed page which takes the latest news from a webmaster/website news site and posts the news on that page.
I think it would be quite good to have a content part of the website as well as the forums. |
