this is not something i've done in the past - what would you suggest is the best option to suggest to prospective buyers? the domain is registered with godaddy, but i have a few other domains registered there too, so the name would have to be transfered... and as far as hosting goes - i use the space for another website, so handing over the space all together would not be the best for me.

Transferring a domain is very simple. Tell the person to create a Godaddy account if they don't have one and then go to "manage domains" and then click on change account and follow the instructions.
do you have a reseller account? If you let the person into your account can they have access to the other site? If that's the case then create a back up and transfer the back up to the person that you sell it to.
