Everyone's entittled to their opinions and it's nice to see an open and frank disicussion; move over, the concern for the forum as a whole is moving.
Moncal - to answer your question somewhat, Delta Airlines flies airplanes, so why do they have a lounge in the airport just for their members? It's an added service, nothing else. I commend Fabio for wanting to provide an additional service to the members. No, it's not webmaster related - and no one will know that it even exists on the surface. What does it do for TWT - on the surface, nothing. Below the surface, it's an outlet for members, keeps them active, allows them to blow off steam, etc. Overall, it's about CRM.
Fabio and I had lengthy discussions about the issue overnight. I was leaning towards "No" and "Yes" on the voting after seeing some of the points very considerately brought up by a few members. After Fabio said it could be hidden, by invitation only, etc. = I vote Yes/Yes. |
