Interesting site Debbie...thanks for that link! I've got some reading to do.

Funny to hear the conversation between the "leader" and Jack, learning that he's been on the island all his life, and that they have more than decent contact with the outside world.

I understand that they might want their privacy, but why treat Jack, Sawyer and Kate like dirt? Could it be a cult following, and this is their way to "break in" the characters?

And that girl who was talking to Kate while working... she seems to be an outcast (or future rebel) of the "others". Her boyfriend "Carl" was in the cage across from Sawyer in last week's episode. I wonder what Carl did to be treated as an outcast too.

I bothers me that these "others" have so much dirt on all the survivors. Makes me wonder if they have contacts or alliances with people in key places in the "normal" world? Where would they get an autopsy report on Jack's father? Sawyer's real name? Jack's ex-wife being happy in her new marriage? They seem to know alot about the secrets people have.

And now, next week, Locke is mute? I thought this island had curative healing powers?
