and the rabbit hole reference is a Matrix bit
Just means that there's lots more to it than simply putting ads up... heat placement (meaning where eyeballs go first, second, and third) also have to do with your CTR
Then there's the whole trailing terms thing... where you buy clicks for pennies and people click your ads for 300% - 1000% more than you paid to get them there to click...
There's really a ton of information about it... I'm considering writing a book about it
