Community guidelines

Make every reply useful.

A short standard for clear, safe, and constructive webmaster discussion.

Bring context

Describe the problem, expected result, environment, and tests already completed. Redact credentials and private data before sharing code or logs.

Challenge ideas, not people

Explain why a suggestion may fail and offer a testable alternative. Disagreement is useful when it improves the evidence.

Avoid promotional noise

Do not hide advertisements in signatures or replies. Link to an external resource only when it directly supports the answer.

Return with the outcome

When the problem is solved, add the root cause and final fix. That closing note is often the most valuable part of a thread.
