Did the install process say success when you were finished? And of course you CHMOD'd all of the proper files? I actually had this happen to me... and I am trying to remember what it was that I did...???

OH yeah... I deleted it and then deleted the MySQL db then re-created a new one with a different name because it left something on my server that said something like - User name already exists File#1 it set everything up but returned 404 errors...

try deleting it and then delete the DB - recreate the DB then FTP the files again... Also if you're going to change the name of the folder "Free_Site-sift_directory" do this before you FTP - I suppose if you're doing it on your own machine then you don't have to FTP but then how are you changing the CHMOD's to 777?
